I had scheduled a workshop in Bodie for May of 2020 but it was canceled due to COVID restrictions. This workshop gave us access to the town after hours with the intention of shooting the milky way over various locations in Bodie.We did a practice shoot over Mono craters the day before we visited Bodie. We were initially based in Lee Vinig and then moved up to Virginia Creek to make the drive out of Bodie shorter.
During one of our afternoon breaks I drove into Bridgeport to visit the Travertine hot springs.
