Monterey is a quick trip from the Bay Area and makes for a great day out. The Monterey Bay Aquarium is a remarkable place, with large, deep tanks showcasing an incredible variety of marine life. It was also the first aquarium to successfully display jellyfish, and they make absolutely stunning subjects to photograph.
