Circus World Museum, Baraboo, Wisconsin - May 26, 2005
I have family in Wisconsin and decided to visit them on my way back from a work conference. I stayed in Green Bay, caught up with relatives, and explored Door County and Baileys Harbor. I had also hoped to visit Taliesin and the Wisconsin Dells, but that was simply too much to fit into one trip. So I focused on the Circus World Museum in Baraboo. This is where the Ringling Brothers Circus got its start in 1884, and the grounds served as its headquarters and winter home. Today you will find beautifully restored circus wagons, colorful circus posters, and the train cars that once carried the show across the country.
