The Don Williams Automobile Gallery displays historically significant automobiles from the earliest gas-powered auto, an 1886 Benz Patent Motorwagon, to classics like a 1935 Hispano-Suiza, to a contemporary 2020 Ferrari Monza SP1. Visitors can see specialty collector vehicles like the 1931 Duesenberg Model J Convertible owned by Philip K. Wrigley. Most car museums are like warehouses with white walls, ugly bright lighting, and cars crammed wall to wall — not the Blackhawk. These cars have space around them so you can really appreciate them. The presentation features a sleek dark backdrop, a highly polished floor, and tailored lighting to show each car in the best possible light. It's a great selection of automobiles presented in a way that makes it a photographer's delight.
