Frazier Kentucky History Museum, Louisville, Kentucky - August 1, 2009
The Frazier Museum started as an arms museum, and you can still see that in the collection today. It was later rebranded as the Frazier Kentucky History Museum, now focused on the broader history of Kentucky. In the main lobby there was a striking model of the USS Kentucky, along with a Gutenberg Bible and writings by Galileo. From the rooftop, you have a great view of the Ohio River. The museum is located in the old part of Louisville, so there is some wonderful architecture to take in along the way. Across the street from the Frazier is the Louisville Slugger Museum and Factory. Outside the building is a massive replica of a Louisville Slugger bat leaning against the building.
