Castle Air Museum, Atwater California - May 1, 2001
Castle Air Museum, located in the heart of California’s San Joaquin Valley, is the largest aviation museum between Southern California and Washington State, with over seventy restored vintage military aircraft on static display -- and more on the way! The museum sits adjacent to the former Castle Air Force Base, now Castle Airport, and officially opened to the public in 1981.
A quick note: these images were shot on 6x17 panoramic transparency film, so the color quality from scanning may not be perfect -- but the aircraft more than make up for it!
