Pismo Beach, California – January 27, 2023
Getting stuck in the sand on the Organ Pipe trip — combined with all the off-road driving I'd been doing on various workshops — convinced me it was time for an upgrade. I sold the van and picked up a new Subaru Outback Wilderness. I started with a basic off-roading class to build my skills, and on this trip followed it up with a sand dune and vehicle recovery class out on the Oceano Dunes.
