Porsche Club at Laguna Seca Raceway, Monterey County, California - July 7, 2013
My roommate is a member of the local Porsche club and has been racing his car for a few years. Once a year the club heads out to Laguna Seca Raceway for a club track day, and I tagged along to shoot. I had been to Laguna Seca before as part of a photography workshop that gave us access to the course from the official photographer positions, so I was hoping for similar access this time around. It didn't quite work out that way — I managed to get a few shots from a spot near the pits before being shooed away, then headed up into the grandstands to shoot for the rest of the event.
